Identification and access control tool

OPTIpass is a system based on an electronic employee card that successfully replaces ID badges, access cards, passes, and time tracking devices. Thanks to practical modules with specific functionalities, it significantly simplifies the work of those responsible for reception, concierge, and access offices, as well as those responsible for managing organizational resources. Built-in reporting tools provide access to a wealth of useful information, saving time on analysis and eliminating the possibility of errors. OPTIpass significantly improves security within a facility, and is already used by many companies and institutions.

Modern concierge

Registers all check-ins and check-outs by tapping the user's card and the proximity tag attached to the key on the reader. Software installed on computers displays data about the borrower and key on the monitor, which is then saved in the database. The system allows for a quick review of all check-outs at any time. The application can also be used to maintain a log of the use of various types of equipment, tools, and devices.

Guest reception

Registration in the electronic check-in and check-out system is based on the guest card, a temporary, numbered pass that grants access to selected areas of the facility. Visitor data is entered into the system using an ID card and passport scanner. Electronic check-in and check-out systems can be maintained regardless of the size of the organization or the number of reception desks. The collected data can be viewed at any time and by any category.

Time and attendance recording

The verification process is automatic, with employees tapping their cards on the readers upon entering and leaving the building. This ensures accurate recording and billing of working hours, and the collected data is immediately available in HR and payroll programs integrated with the system. This eliminates the need for manual data entry and minimizes the risk of discrepancies.

Public Key Infrastructure

It enables the management of an employee's digital identity, i.e., their virtual profile in the system, which contains personal data and assigned authorization certificates. PKI allows for access control to premises and IT infrastructure (logging into workstations, VPNs, Wi-Fi networks, applications, websites, information kiosks, and hardware), enables the implementation of a single sign-on system (Single Sign On), and guarantees information confidentiality (email and document encryption).

Digital Signatures

Digital signatures within a PKI ensure the reliability, security, and verification of all data. They can be used to sign electronic messages and documents. PKI-based login and electronic signatures can be implemented independently of other OPTIpass System components. This technology is becoming increasingly effective, replacing older solutions such as password protection, eliminating the need to periodically change them.

Greater control on-site and resource access

Due to the open architecture of the OPTIpass system, individual modules and their functionalities can be implemented according to the organization's needs. They can be easily integrated with other existing applications, such as HR and payroll or document management. The OPTIpass system operates on a plastic document that can fulfill a range of practical functions depending on the configuration and needs. This allows the system to replace multiple IDs and passes with a single card, leading to real savings. OPTIpass has a clear interface and intuitive operation, making the system easy to use even by those with little experience with IT solutions.

Employee card

A multi-functional, electronic identification and authentication document, graphically personalized and configurable to record access permissions.

Access control

Monitoring through the use of electronic locks, entry gates, and parking barriers controlled by card readers, with centralized supervision and authorization modification.

Unattended print center

Control of internal resources and services by linking the printing system with employee cards, enabling the settlement of related expenses.

Database

Operating from a single database, the OPTIpass system provides access to the most up-to-date information on all users and enables dynamic changes to their authorizations.

A system needed by every company and institution

The OPTIpass system includes electronic employee cards with contactless and proximity systems, software, IT infrastructure, card infrastructure, and network infrastructure. Each employee has an individual electronic card, which serves as a business ID and is also used in the OPTIpass system. The card is printed with their personal information – first name, last name, position, department name, and number – and the electronic system contains certificates granting access to specific system functions. Electronic cards can be issued to employees based on a request or within our own resources – a personalization point with a card printer, computer with software, reader, and blanks is required. Cards are prepared according to precisely specified graphic designs by the client, e.g., for employees, guests, etc.
